Sir William Hylton, Knt., de jure 8th Lord Hylton, son of William Hylton, Knt., de jure 7th Lord Hylton and Mary Stapleton, was born about 1463, being aged 6 and more at his father's death.1 He died before 31 May 1506,1 and was buried at Hilton Chapel, Durham, England.1

William married Margery Bowes, daughter of Sir William Bowes, Knt. and Maud Fitz Hugh.1
