Sir John of Scotland Knt., 8th Earl of Chester, 10th Earl of Huntingdon, son of David of Huntingdon, Earl of Huntingdon and Maud of Chester, died at Darnal Abbey, Cheshire, England, before 6 June 1237,1 and was buried at St. Werburgh's, Chester, Cheshire, England.1

John married Ellen of Wales, daughter of Llywelyn ap Iorwerth and Joan of England.1
