Affonso IV "el Osado," King of Portugal & The Algarve, son of Diniz "el Justo," Knt., King of Portugal & The Algarve and Saint Elizabeth of Aragón, was born at Lisbon, Portugal, 8 February 1291.1 He died 28 May 1357.1 Both he and his wife were buried at Lisbon Cathredral, Portugal.1

Affonso married Beatris of Castile-León, daughter of Sancho IV of Castile-León "el Bravo," King of Castile & etc. and María Alfonso de Molina, at Lisbon, 12 September 1359.1
