Hugues III, Duke of Burgundy, son of Eudes II, Duke of Burgundy and Marie of Blois, was born about 1148.1 He died at Tyre, Kingdom of Jerusalem, 25 August 1192,1 and was buried at church of the Abbey of Citreaux, Côte-d'Or, France.1

Hugues married (1) Alix of Lorraine, daughter of Mathieu I, Duke of Upper Lorraine and Bertha of Swabia, in 1165;1 he repudiated her in 1183;1 he married (2), as her 2nd husband, Béatrix d'Albon, daughter of Guigues X d'Albon, Count of Viennois and Albon and Beatrix (…), 1 September 1183.1
