Sir Ranulph de Blundeville, Knt., Earl of Chester
Sir Ranulph de Blundeville, Knt., Earl of Chester, son of Hugh "Kevelioc," 6th Earl of Chester and Bertrade de Montfort, Countess of Chester, was born at Oswestry, Powys, Wales, about 1172.1 He died at Wallingford, Oxfordshire, England, 28 October 1232,1 and was buried at St. Werburg's, Chester, England.1
Ranulph married (1) Constance of Penthièvre, Duchess of Brittany, 3rd Countess of Richmond, daughter of Conan IV, Duke of Brittany, 2nd Earl of Richmond and Margaret de Huntingdon, 3 February 1187/88;1 their marriage was annulled in 1199;1 he married (2) Clemence de Fougères, daughter of Guillaume de Fougères, seigneur of Fougères and Agatha du Hommet, before 7 October 1200.2
