William Chittenden, son of Thomas Chittenden and Margaret Bachiler, was born probably shortly before his baptism, 3 November 1577.1 He died before 3 December 1632,1 when he was buried at Hawkhurst, Kent, England.1

William married Elizabeth Markley, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), at Hawkhurst 15 January 1604/5.1
