Samuel perhaps had a first wife, Elizabeth (…), whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here);3 he married (2) Sarah Knapp, daughter of Moses Knapp and Abigail Westcott, before 1698. The marriage to Elizabeth is not shown by Torrey.4,5,2
