Sir William Leyland, Knt., son of John Leyland, died 1547.1
William married (1) Anne Singleton, daughter of Alan Singleton and Margery Talbot;2 he married (2) Alice Trafford, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here).2
That Margaret is William's daughter is based on Thomas Parr's will where he appointed "…my right worshipfull brother in lawe Thoms Leylonde Esquyer supvisor…." of the execution of his will. Thomas is shown to be the son of Sir William in VCH Lancaster.2,3
