Gisele of Swabia, daughter of Hermann II, Duke of Swabia and Gerberga of Burgundy, was born 11 November 995.1 She died 14 February 1042/43.1

Gisele married (1) Bruno von Braunschweig, after 1000;2 she married (2) Ernst von Babenberg, Duke of Swabia, between 1003 and 1005;3 she married (3) Conrad II "the Salic," Holy Roman Emperor, son of Henry of Speyer, Count in Wormsgau and Adelaide, between 1015 and 1017. The ancestries of the first two men are unknown (or not traced here). The chronology of her birth and the first two marriages would seem to show these were contracted marriages that were never consumated.1
