Sir Roger la Zouche, Knt., son of Roger la Zouche and Juliane (…), was born about 1292.1 He died after 1353.1,2

Roger married (1) Felicia (…), whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here);1 he married (2), as her 2nd husband, Maud de Furnival, daughter of Sir Thomas de Furnival, Knt., 1st Lord Furnival and Joan le Despenser, after 30 November 1348.3

Richardson notes that, "Care shold be taken to distinguish William la Zouche (living 1333) above, 2nd son of William la Zouche, Knt, 1st Lord of Zouche of Harringworth, from his more prominent cousin, William la Zouche, Clerk of the wardrobe, Keeper of the Privy Seal, Treasurer of England, Archbishop of York (died 1352). Archbishop Zouche is known to have had a brother, Roger la Zouche, Knt., which Roger can be readily identified as Roger la Zouche, Knt. (living 1353), of Lubbesthorpe, Leicestershire. If so, this would place the Archbishop as a younger son of Roger la Zouche (died1302), of Lubbestorpe, Leicestershire, by his wife Juliane."2
