Sir Henry Oxenden, Knt., son of Henry Oxenden, Esq. and Eliza Young, was born at Dene, Kent, England, about 1549.1 He died 25 May 1620,1 and was buried at Wingham, Kent, England.1

Henry married (1) Elizabeth Brooker, daughter of James Brooker, Gent. and Cicelie Alderstone;1 he married (2) Mary Theobald, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), after 2 September 1588.1

He was knighted at Whitehall, 17 February 1606/7.2
