Sir Alexander Walrond, Knt., son of Henry Walrond, Esq., was born about 1654 being age 17 when he matriculated in 1671. He died before 7 May 1677, when his will was proved.1

Alexander married Mary Cornelius, daughter of James Cornelius.2

He was Knighted by King Charles II, at Whitehall, 20 June 1672.3

Alexander left a will dated 11 April 1677, and proved at London, 7 May 1677. In it, he noted:
to be embalmed and sent to Barbados and be buried with his mother in St. Philip's churchyard, his wife to ask leave of the vestry

two brothers, Henry and Edward
to his son and daughter his three negros Coffee, Oliver, and Cromwell

In a codicil, 13 April 1677, he wrote, "If I cannot conveniently be buried at Barbadoes then to be carried to Temple Church. Mr Thomas Henchman Executor for this purpose."4
