Shubael Geer, son of Thomas Geer and Deborah Davis, was born at Enfield, Hampshire Co., Massachusetts, about 1683.1

Shubael married Sarah Abbe, daughter of Thomas Abbe and Sarah Fairfield, at Enfield, 27 January 1702/3.2,1,3

Shubael Geer was active in the affairs of Enfield, serving at various times as fence-viewer, field-driver, surveyor of highways, searcher and gager of casks, and constable.

The Geer Genealogy states he was in Capt Appleton's company at the Great Swamp fight, but that is an obvious error as Shubael was not even born when that event occurred.4
