Robert married (1) Helie (Eleanor), of Semur-en-Brionnais, daughter of Dalmas I and Aremburge, in 1033;1 they later divorced in 1046;3 he married (2), as her 2nd husband, Ermengarde of Anjou, daughter of Fulk III "Nerra," Count of Anjou and Hildegarde, after 1046.1
