Sir John de Clinton, Knt., 1st Lord Clinton, son of Thomas Clinton and Maud Bracebridge, was born about 1258.1 He died before 7 January 1310/11, when his executors and heirs were granted remission for a debt to the king.1

John married, as her 2nd husband, Ida de Oddingseles, daughter of Sir William de Oddingseles, Knt. and Ela Fitz Walter, after 29 September 1286.1
