Gisela, daughter of Louis I "the Pious," Emperor and Judith of Bavaria, was born between 819 and 822.1,2,3 She died after 1 July 874, when she made a grant to Cysoing Abbey.2,1,3 Both she and her husband were buried at Cysoing Abbey, France.3
