William de Warenne, 3rd Earl of Surrey, son of William de Warenne, 2nd Earl of Surrey and Isabel de Vermandois, Countess of Vermandois, was born in 1118.1 He was killed at the Battle of Mt. Cadmus, near Laodicea, 19 January 1147/48.1,2
