John Bruyn, son of James Bruyn and Anne Starkey, was born about 1486, being 28 at his father's I.P.M. in 1514.1 He died about 13 June 1532, "the xxth day after the feast of Trinity, 23 Hen. VIII."2

John married Mary Oteley, daughter of Sir Thomas Oteley, Knt., about 1507, the date of the marriage covenant.3,2
