Sir Lionel of Antwerp, K.G., son of Edward III, King of England and Philippa Hainault, was born at Antwerp, Brabant, Belgium, 29 November 1338.1 He died at Alba, Piedmont, Italy, 17 October 1368.1

Lionel married (1) Elizabeth de Burgh, Duchess of Clarence, daughter of Sir William de Burgh, Knt., Lord Burgh, 4th Earl of Ulster and Maud of Lancaster, at the Tower of London, London, England, 13 August 1352;1 he married (2) Volante Visconti, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), at the Milan Cathedral, Milan, Italy, 29 May 1368.1
