Sir Hugh de Stafford, K.G., 2nd Earl of Stafford, 3rd Lord Stafford, Lord Audley, son of Sir Ralph de Stafford, K.G., 2nd Lord Stafford and Margaret de Audley, was born about 1342.1,2 He died at the Isle of Rhodes, 16 October 1386, while returning home from a pilgrimage to Jerusalem.1,2 Both he and his wife were buried at Stone Priory, Staffordshire, England.2,1

Hugh married Philippe de Beauchamp, daughter of Sir Thomas Beauchamp, K.G., 11th Earl of Warwick and Katharine de Mortimer, before 1 March 1351/52.1,2
