Pierre of France, seigneur of Courtenay, son of Louis VI "le Gros," King of France and Adelaide of Savoy, was born about 1125.1 He died at Palestine, between 1179 and 1183.1

Pierre married Elizabeth de Courtenay, daughter of Renaud de Courtenay, Sire de Courtenay and Helvis du Donjon.2
