John Fitch, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), was born at Billerica, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts, 12 February 1711/12. He died at Ashby, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts, 8 April 1795.

John married, as her 2nd husband, Elizabeth Bowers, daughter of Samuel Bowers and Esther Sawtell, at Lunenburg, Worcester Co., Massachusetts, 14 February 1750/51.1
