In the name of God amen this 9th day of January 1767 I William Baldrige of little Brittan township and county of landchaster being in perfect helth mind and memory thanks be to god therefore calling into mind the mortality of my body and knowing that it is appointedfor all men once to die doe make and ordain this my last will and tesmtt that is to say pincipaly and first of all I give and recomend my soul unto the hands of god that gave it and for my body I recomend it to the Earth to be buried in a christen and desant manner at the discreation of my Executors nothing douting but at the generall ressorection I shall recive the same again by the mighty power of god and as tuching such worldly wealth where with it hath pleased god to bless me with in this life I give and bequeath and dispose of the same in the following manner and form as followeth
Imprimoss and first of all I allow and ordain my best beloved wife sixty five pounds to be paid upon demand I allso allow and ordain my wife suficent vitling drink and clothing and washing and half an acer of land yearly plowed to soe flax seed on and allso a house by her self and fire wood as long as she lives and allso the third part of the wool yearly
I ordain and alow my son Johns heirs Eight ound
I ordain and alow my son Alexander five pounds
I ordain and alow my son Michael three and tweny pound
I ordain and [allow] my daughter Elizabeth fifty pound onely the prise of her mear is to be taken out of the fifty pound
I ordain and allow my son John Poston five pound
I ordain and alow my former son Matthew Atchison seven shillings and six pence
I ordain and alow my son Michael all my plantation att my Death
I apoint and ordain my wife and son Michael to be my Executors
in witness where of I have bear unto set my hand and seal the day and year above mentioned in presents of us Patrick Ewing, Jas [Foster?], Wm Foster.2
