Michael Baldridge, son of William Baldridge and Janette Holmes, was born at Coleraine, Ulster, Ireland, 19 May 1725.1 He died at St. Clairsville, Belmont Co., Ohio, 12 May 1812.2

Michael married (1) Mabel Wilson, daughter of James Wilson and Mabel Witherough, at Little Britain, Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania, 23 October 1763;1 he married (2) Margaret Rusk, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), at Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania, 12 November 1784.2

In 1790, his household was probably the one enumerated at Little Britain, with 3 free white males over 16, 2 under 16, and 5 free white females.3

Michael left a will dated at Belmont Co., Ohio, 20 March 1812, and proved 21 April 1814 mentioning his wife and children without naming them. He left to his wife whatever was left after paying his debts, except 5 shillings to each of his children, "if they call upon it." Presumably each had received a larger share when he sold his property in Pennsylvania several years earlier. David and Elizabeth Baldridge were named executors, probably two of his younger children, although that is not specified.4
