Thomas Stoughton, M.P., son of Lawrence Stoughton and Anne Combes, was born 25 March 1521.1,2 He died at Sussex, England, 26 March 1578,1 and was buried at St. Clement Danes in the Strand, Sussex, England.1

Thomas married (1) Anne Fleming, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), say 1543;1 he married (2) Elizabeth Lewknor, daughter of Edmund Lewknor and Joan Tyrell, before 1554.3,1
