Sir Lawrence Stoughton, Knt., M.P., son of Thomas Stoughton, M.P. and Elizabeth Lewknor, was born at Stoughton, Surrey, England, 12 November 1554.1,2 He died at Stoughton, 13 December 1615,1,2 and was buried at St. John's, Stoke, Surrey, England.3

Lawrence married Rose Ive, daughter of Richard Ive and Elizabeth Agmondesham, 23 April 1575.1
