Sir Edmund de Mortimer, Knt., 1st Lord Mortimer, son of Sir Roger de Mortimer, Knt. and Maud de Braose, was born between 1251 and 1254.1 He, was mortally wounded at the Battle of Builth in Wales, 25 July 1304,2 and was buried at Wigmore Abbey, Herefordshire, England.2

Edmund married Margaret de Fiennes, Lady Mortimer, daughter of Sir William de Fiennes, Chev. and Blanche de Brienne, before 12 December 1285.1
