Sir Roger de Somery, Knt., son of Sir Ralph de Somery, Knt. and Margaret le Gras, was born about 1208.1 He died before 2 September 1273.2

Roger married (1) Nichole d'Aubeney, daughter of William d'Aubeney, 3rd Earl of Arundel and Mabel of Chester, before 22 November 1232;1,2 he married (2), as her 2nd husband, Amabilia de Chaucombe, daughter of Sir Robert de Chaucombe, Knt. and Juliane de Cornhill, after 2 October 1254.3
