Sir Robert Fitz Walter, Knt., 1st Lord Fitz Walter, son of Sir Walter Fitz Robert, Knt. and Ida Longespée, was born at Henham, Essex, England, in 1247.1 He died 18 January 1325/26.2

Robert married (1) Devorguille de Burgh, daughter of Sir John de Burgh, Knt. and Cecily de Balliol, in 1259;3 he married (2) Eleanor de Ferrers, daughter of Sir Robert de Ferrers, Knt., 6th Earl of Derby and Eleanor de Bohun, before 11 March 1290;3 he married (3) Alice de Montfort, daughter of Sir Peter de Montfort, Knt. and Maud de la Mare, after 10 May 1308.3
