Sir Richard of England, Knt., Earl of Cornwall, King of the Romans, son of John "Lackland," King of England and Isabel of Angoulême, was born at Winchester Castle, Hampshire, England, 5 January 1209.1 He died at Berkhampstead, Hertfordshire, England, 2 April 1272.1
Richard married (1), as her 2nd husband, Isabel Marshal, daughter of Sir William Marshal, Knt., 3rd Earl of Pembroke and Isabel de Clare, at Fawley, Buckinghamshire, England, 30 March 1231;1 he married (2) Sanche of Provence, daughter of Ramón V Berenguer and Beatrix of Savoy, at Westminster Abbey, England, 23 November 1243;1 he married (3) Beatrice de Falkenburg, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), at Kaiserslautern, Germany, 16 June 1269.1
He also an unknown mistress or mistresses by whom he had four known children.1
