Isabel of Angoulême, daughter of Aymer de Valence "Taillifer," Count of Angoulême and Alice de Courtenay, was born in 1188.¹ She died 4 June 1246,¹ and was buried at Fontrevrault Abbey, France.¹

Isabel married (1), as his 2nd wife, John "Lackland," King of England, son of Henry II, King of England and Eleanor of Aquitaine, at Bordeaux, France, 24 August 1200;¹ she married (2) Hugues X le Lusignan, son of Hugh IX de Lusignan "le Brun," Sire de Lusignan, Count of La Marche and Agatha de Preuilly, 10 May 1220.¹
