Sir Hugh le Despenser, Knt., Earl of Winchester, 1st Lord Despenser, son of Sir Hugh le Despenser, Knt. and Aline Basset, was hanged at Bristol, Gloucestershire, England, 27 October 1326.1
Hugh married, as her 2nd husband, Isabel de Beauchamp, daughter of William de Beauchamp, 9th Earl of Warwick and Maud Fitz John, in 1286.1
