Sir Hugh le Despenser "the younger," Knt., 2nd Lord Despencer, son of Sir Hugh le Despenser, Knt., Earl of Winchester, 1st Lord Despenser and Isabel de Beauchamp, was executed at Herefordshire, England, 24 November 1326,1 and his remains were later gathered and buried at Tewkesbury Abbey, Gloucestershire, England, in 1330.1

Hugh married Eleanor de Clare, daughter of Sir Gilbert de Clare, Knt., 6th Earl of Gloucester and Joan of England, after 14 June 1306.2
