Eleanor de Clare, daughter of Sir Gilbert de Clare, Knt., 6th Earl of Gloucester and Joan of England, was born before 23 November 1292.1 She died 30 June 1337.2

Eleanor married (1) Sir Hugh le Despenser "the younger," Knt., 2nd Lord Despencer, son of Sir Hugh le Despenser, Knt., Earl of Winchester, 1st Lord Despenser and Isabel de Beauchamp, after 14 June 1306;3 she married (2) Sir William la Zouche Mortimer, Knt., 1st Lord Zouch of Richard's Castle, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), about 26 January 1328/29.4
