Sir William de Hastings, Knt., son of William de Hastings and Maud Banastre, was born before 1173.1 He died in 1224, when custody of his lands was granted to Osbert Giffard.1

William married Margaret le Bigod, daughter of Sir Roger le Bigod, Knt., 4th Earl of Norfolk and Ida de Toeni, say 1203.2
