James de Bohun, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), was born at Ford, Sussex, England, 3 February 1280/81.1 He died before 30 May 1306.2

James married Joan de Brewes, daughter of Sir William de Brewes, Knt., 2nd Lord Brewes and Agnes (…), before 1301.2
