Sir Aubrey III de Vere, Knt., 1st Earl of Oxford, son of Aubrey II de Vere and Adelicia de Clare, was born probably about 1110.1 He died 26 December 1194,2 and was buried at Colne Priory, Earls Colne, Essex, England.2

Aubrey married (1) Beatrice (…), whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), before 1139;3 they later divorced, before 1146;3 he married (2) Eupheme de Cantelowe, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), before 1152;3 he married (3) Agnes de Essex, daughter of Henry de Essex, lord of Rayleigh and Haughley and Cicely (…), about 1163.4,5
