Sir Robert de Vere, Knt., 3rd Earl of Oxford, son of Sir Aubrey III de Vere, Knt., 1st Earl of Oxford and Agnes de Essex, was born after 1164.1 He died before 25 October 1221,1 and was buried at Hatfield Priory, Essex, England.1

Robert married, as her 2nd husband, Isabel de Bolebec, daughter of Hugh II de Bolebec, after 1206.1
