Lt General John Wynyard, son of John Wynyard and Anne (…), was born probably shortly before his baptism at St. Margaret's Westminster, London, England, 28 March 1682.1,2 He died 20 February 17521,2 and was buried in the center part of the nave of Westminster Abbey, London, England.2

General Wynyard married Mary Maxwell, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), say 1730.1,2

Lt General John Wynyard left a will 27 May 1751, proved 25 February 1752 naming:
     * son William age about 19
     * daughter Mary age about 15
     * unborn, but expected child
     * wife Mary
     * kinsman John Wenham
     * Executors John Wenham & Thomas Forth.3
