Nathaniel Wheeler, son of Thomas Wheeler and Joan (…), was born probably shortly before his baptism at Milford, Connecticut, 20 February 1642/43.1 He died at Newark, Essex Co., New Jersey, 4 October 1726.1

Nathaniel married Esther Botsford, daughter of Henry Botsford and Elizabeth (…), at Milford 27 June 1665.2,3

Nathaniel left a will dated at Newark, 21 August 1724, proved 24 February 1726/7 naming:

daughter Hannah Williams, deceased
daughter Elizabeth Ogden
unnamed children of the deceased daughters
