Thomas Dewey, son of Jedediah Dewey and Sarah Orton, was born at Westfield, Hampden Co., Massachusetts, 29 June 1682.1 He died at Westfield, 15 March 1758.1

Thomas married (1), as her 2nd husband, Abigail Dewey, daughter of Thomas Dewey and Constant Hawes, at Westfield, 7 November 1706;1 he married (2) Elizabeth Harmon, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), at Suffield, Connecticut, 29 December 1749.1

Thomas was a farmer in Little River District. He owned nine acres in General Field in 1723.

He joind the church on January 1, 1727.

He was a selectman in 1717 and 1729.1
