Sir Richard Fitz Alan de Arundel, Knt., 8th Earl of Arundel, son of John Fitz Alan and Isabel de Mortimer, was born 3 February 1266/67.¹ He died 9 March 1301/2.² Both he and his wife were buried at Haughmond Abbey, Shropshire, England.²

Richard married Alice de Saluzzo, daughter of Tommaso I, Marquis of Saluzzo and Aluisa de Ceva, about November 1281.²
