John Fitz Alan, son of Sir John Fitz Alan, Knt. and Maud de Verdun, was born 14 September 1246.1 He died 18 March 1271/72,1 and was buried at Haughmond Abbey, Shropshire, England.1

John married Isabel de Mortimer, daughter of Sir Roger de Mortimer, Knt. and Maud de Braose, before 14 May 1260.1
