Susanna Mackee, daughter of (…) Mackee and (…) Handy, was born at St. Michael's Parish, Barbados, 12 January 1668/69.1 She died before 26 July 1741,2 when she was buried at St. Thomas' Parish, Barbados.2

Susanna married Captain William Allamby, son of William Allamby and Eleanor (…), at St. Michael's Parish, Barbados, 17 February 1683.3

Although no parents are named in her baptism record, she was named in the will of her grandfather John Handy, Gent., though that will also does not name the daughter (apparently deceased) who married an unnamed Mackee, who is also apparently deceased since it appears the widow was guardian of Susan, who inherited the entire estate after a few specified bequests.

She appears to be the Susanah Allumby counted at St. Thomas' Parish in 1715 being 38 with Elizabeth Allumby age 17. Susanah's is age is not compatible with her probable baptism date, showing her to be about 8 years too young.

Two other Allumby girls, Jane, age 10, and Ann, age 7, were also in the St. Thomas census.1,4
