Edmond Crane

Edmond Crane, son of John Crane, was born at Newark, Essex Co., New Jersey, 1692.1 He died at Morristown, Morris Co., New Jersey, before 9 March 1762.1
Edmond married Abigail Kitchell, daughter of Abraham Kitchell and Sarah Bruen, say 1734.1
Edmond lived between Madison and Morristown, New Jersey at what was called the "Hummock." He was a farmer, and two of his sons were captains in the revolution.
In 1905, a Dorothy N. Law of Dixon Illinois owned a Crane family bible. Whereabouts presently unknown.1
Edmond left a will dated 1761, proved 9 Mar 1762:

Sons, Ezekiel and John, house and home lot.
Sons, James and David, the upper lot, near Horse Hill.
Executors—my wife, Abigail, and my brother-in-law, Joseph Kitchel.
Witnesses—Samuel Ford, Eleazar Hatheway, William Dixon.2
