Joan Sheafe, daughter of Edmund Sheafe and Joan Jordan, was born about 1614.1,2 She died before 16 August 1668,3,1,2 when she was buried at Guilford, Connecticut.3

Joan married (1) William Chittenden, son of William Chittenden and Elizabeth Markley, about 1633;4,5,6 she married (2), as his 2nd wife, Abraham Cruttenden, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), at Guilford, 31 May 1665.7,8
