Dorothy Harlakenden, daughter of Thomas Harlakenden, was born probably shortly before her baptism at Earl's Colne, Essex, England, 12 December 1596.1,2 She died before 3 August 1636,3,4 when she was buried at Toppesfield, Essex, England.3,4

Dorothy married Samuel Symonds, son of Richard Symonds and Elizabeth Plumb, at Earl's Colne 2 April 1617.3,5,6
