Martha Reade, daughter of Edmund Reade and Elizabeth Cooke, was born at North Benfleet, Essex, England, 13 July 16021 and baptized there, 22 July 1602.1 She died at Ipswich, Essex Co., Massachusetts, in 1662.2

Martha married (1) Daniel Eppes, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), say 1619;1 she married (2), as his 2nd wife, Samuel Symonds, son of Richard Symonds and Elizabeth Plumb, at Wickford, Essex, England, in 1637.3,4
