Robert de Brus, son of Robert de Brus and Isabel of Huntingdon, was born about 1216.1 He died at Lochmaben Castle, Dumfriesshire, Scotland, 31 March 1295,2 and was buried next to his father at Guisborough Priory, Yorkshire, England, 17 April 1295.2

Robert married (1) Isabel de Clare, daughter of Sir Gilbert de Clare, Knt., 4th Earl of Hertford and Isabel Marshal, May 1240;1 he married (2) Christian de Ireby, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), at Hoddam, Dumfriesshire, Scotland, 3 May 1273.3
