Phebe Cook, daughter of Abiel Cook, was born about 10 April 1736.1 She died 26 August 1824,1 and was buried at Brainerd Cemetery, Cranbury, Middlesex Co., New Jersey.1

Phebe married Peter de Witt, whose parents are unknown, at Monmouth Co., New Jersey, 25 February 1757.2,3,4

Although she survived her husband by 15 years, she was not mentioned in his will. Still, the children listed there are probably hers.5
